1. TurnPoint Work from Home Jobs 2024: Roles and Responsibilities of Technical Specialist
The responsibilities and job roles for the Off-Campus Drive are outlined below:
- Organizing client requests via phone and email.
- Assigning tasks to colleagues.
- Setting up tasks for clients.
- Assessing the urgency and implications of customer issues through conversations.
- Drafting purchase requests in accordance with TurnPoint’s guidelines.
- Acting as a liaison between clients and technical staff.
- Serving as the client interface over the phone and managing ticketing, including:
- Providing support from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours assistance as needed.

- Completing technical tasks as delegated by tech supervisors or independently.
- Identifying, prioritizing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and delivering accurate technical work proactively.
- Guiding clients through the problem-solving process in accessible terms.
- Creating, assessing, and managing personal tasks to support client projects.
- Monitoring ongoing projects and ensuring successful completion.
Qualifications for Technical Specialist:
- Assist in identifying and prioritizing functional and performance-related issues, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.
- Share knowledge with the team and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in functional and performance testing, particularly related to cloud security applications.
- Acquire skills for conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security gaps in the application infrastructure.
- Familiarity with programming languages or automation testing tools is advantageous.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and closure of all client inquiries using online resources.
- Utilize tools such as OneNote, AirTable, Asana, ZenDesk, and others as needed.
- Review and update all assigned tickets daily.
Technical Specifications for Technical Specialist:
- A fixed-rate home internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 20 Mbps.
- An Android device (latest versions Android 12 or 13) or an iPhone (latest iOS version).
- A mobile data package to serve as a backup for fixed broadband, including talk, text, data, and hotspot features.
- Windows 10/11 for Microsoft.
- Microsoft 365.
- Printers compatible with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
