Responsibilities of a Linguist Intern:
- Edit and refine translated subtitles for accuracy and fluency.
- Synchronize subtitle timing with speech pacing.
- Adapt translations for cultural relevance and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with audio engineers to ensure accurate voice output.
- Perform language quality assurance for localization projects.
Salary:
The expected salary for this role is ₹21,500 per month (approximate, subject to change).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Preferably in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Media Localization, or related fields).
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in subtitle editing tools (Aegisub, Ooona, EZTitles, etc.).
- Strong understanding of text alignment, readability, and spoken language clarity.
- Knowledge of linguistic nuances and cultural adaptation.
